Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has surpassed more than one million informational booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing news eu elections materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
The prevention effort is part of wider social programmes supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
